How to Send People to a Thank-You Page in Dubsado

How to Set Up a Redirect URL in Dubsado

By Ema Katiraee, Certified Dubsado Specialist

If you want to make a great first impression, sending people to a thank-you page after they inquire is a simple but powerful step.

When someone inquires through your Dubsado lead capture form or books a call using your scheduler, you can automatically send them to a custom thank-you page using Dubsado’s Redirect URL setting.

This small detail can make a big difference. Instead of being left wondering what to expect, your leads land on a friendly, informative page that offers clear next steps and helps them feel connected right away.

Why a Thank-You Page Matters

Once someone fills out your form or books a time with you, they might feel a mix of excitement, curiosity, and even nervousness. A thank-you page gives them instant reassurance. It confirms their message was received and helps set expectations for what comes next.

Here’s what a thank-you page can include:

  • A short video thanking them for reaching out

  • A note about when they can expect to hear from you

  • A quick overview of your process or next steps

  • Testimonials from past clients

  • Links to helpful resources or blog posts

It’s a small detail that can make your business feel more professional, personal, and reliable.

How to Set a Redirect URL in Dubsado

Dubsado allows you to redirect leads to any external URL after they submit a form or book a time using your scheduler. You’ll just need to paste the full link to your thank-you page into the right setting.

For a Scheduler

If someone books a call through your Dubsado scheduler, you can redirect them to a thank-you page by following these steps:

  1. Open your scheduler in Templates > Schedulers

  2. Click the Advanced tab

  3. Scroll down to the Redirect URL field

  4. Paste in the full link to your thank-you page (make sure to include https://)

  5. Click Save

Now, when someone books a time with you, they’ll be taken straight to your custom page instead of the default confirmation screen.

For a Lead Capture Form

If you're using a lead capture form on your website, here’s how to redirect to a thank-you page:

  1. Go to Templates > Forms

  2. Open your lead capture form

  3. Click Form Settings

  4. Find the Redirect URL field

  5. Paste in the full thank-you page link (include https://)

  6. Click Save

After submitting the form, your lead will land on your thank-you page right away.

Tip: You can also do this with Public Proposals in Dubsado. Just make sure the Public Proposal option is turned on in the form settings. Once it’s enabled, the Redirect URL field will appear and work the same way.

Quick Tips

  • Use a hidden page on your website: If you’re using Squarespace, Showit, or another site builder, create a hidden thank-you page that’s only shown to people after they inquire.

  • Test everything first: Submit a test form or book a test appointment to make sure the redirect works as expected.

  • Keep the page simple: Your thank-you page doesn’t need to be long. Even a simple message and a 1-minute video can help build trust.

Final Thoughts

A thank-you page is a small detail that makes your business feel more professional and personal from the very first interaction. And when it's part of a properly built Dubsado setup with automated workflows and clear next steps, it sets the tone for everything that follows.
