How to Manually Book an Appointment for a Client in Dubsado:
If you’ve aligned on a date and time that works for you and your client, follow the steps below to book and appointment on their behalf:
Go to the client project
Click on the Appointments tab.
Click on ‘Schedule Appointment’ ➡ Select ‘Use Existing Scheduler Template’.
Select the scheduler template that applies in this case from the dropdown menu.
Click ‘Add’.
Go to the ‘Pending’ tab to view the appointment scheduler.
Click ‘Open’ on the scheduler that was just added to the project.
Choose the date and time of the appointment and click ‘Submit and Finish’.
Your client will now receive a confirmation email. They will also receive reminder emails if they are set up.

Automating the Process with Workflows:
If you always need to book on a clients behalf for a specific service you offer, some of the steps above can be automated with a workflow. Inside of the workflow add the following action:
Action: Send Appointment Scheduler
When: Set the action to occur when it makes sense - after another appointment ends, X days before / after the project date
Send Scheduler Options: Apply to project only. This will apply the scheduler to the project, but will not send the scheduler to the client or apply it to the client portal.
Scheduler Template: Select the appointment scheduler that applies in this case.
Once this step is triggered in the workflow, you can open the scheduler and select the date and time you’ve aligned with your client and book the appointment for them.
Note: You can set a to-do action to trigger right after the scheduler is applied, so you get notified and go into the clients project and book the appointment for them.
